Privacy policy

Last updated: October 20, 2026.

Cuentas Claras is the platform your business uses to run its inventory, sales, cash register and customer credit. Running it means storing information about your business, and this page explains — with no fine print hidden anywhere — what we store, how we protect it, and what happens to your data if you ever decide to leave.

1. What information we store

2. How we protect your information

3. Backups

We make a daily backup of the database, so information can be recovered if there is a serious system failure.

4. Payments

Subscription payments are processed by Stripe. Your card details are handled by Stripe directly: they never pass through our servers and are never stored on them.

5. Offline mode, stated honestly

The platform can keep selling with no connection. In that case, movements are stored on the device where you record them and sync automatically when the internet comes back. Until a movement has synced, it lives only on that device: if the device is lost or damaged before syncing, that movement never reaches our servers and we cannot recover it.

6. What happens to your data if you cancel
